Le Laboratoire d’art - le Labo inc.

Incorporated in 2006, Le Laboratoire d’art (Le Labo), a Francophone media arts centre in Toronto, offers creative support to French-speaking artists whose works reach a broad public. Its objectives are to: - Support incubation, innovation, creation and production in the media arts. - Promote collaboration and dissemination. - Train its members, educate the new generation of artists and raise awareness among the general public. Le Labo assists its members in the production of works by offering calls for project submissions, rental services and professional training. It also coordinates two projects devoted to the development of young artists: a mentorship program and a youth council—and it invites francophone and francophile artists to present their works in order to encourage public dialogue on the issues and specificities of media arts creation in French.
